He walked over towards the lean-to where Rigmor had been recovering. She was sitting up but holding herself where she had been wounded in the fight, she had with Thalmor. He looked at her and said, \u201cGood morning, Rigmor!\u201d She flinched at the happy greeting and replied gruffly, \u201cWhere\u2019s my stuff? What happened and who are you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He smiled a bit at her gruff response and replied, \u201cYou were hurt. In fact, you almost died.\u201d She said, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, I didn\u2019t mean to sound so ungrateful. How did I get here?\u201d He smiled, walked over closer to her, and bent down on one knee so he could talk with her, not down to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then replied, \u201cI carried you here.\u201d There was a quiet assessment of trust trying to find its place between them. She replied, \u201cI was falling after being injured, that\u2019s the last thing I remembered before everything went dark.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He thought for a moment, then replied, \u201cHow are you feeling? Do you know were Rose went?\u201d She rocked back and forth a bit holding onto herself then said, \u201cDarn, I hurt! I guess I\u2019ll be okay though. Is that her name, Rose?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then replied, \u201cYes, how long has she been gone, and did she say she was going into Riverwood?\u201d Rigmor responded, \u201cShe\u2019s been gone over an hour now, said as I was sitting up, she wanted to go into Riverwood and check on a few things including whether the Thalmor were still around. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said to her, \u201cI am going to go into Riverwood and check on Rose to make sure she\u2019s okay. \u201cShe replied, \u201cWhat about me? If something happens to you, I\u2019ll die out here alone with no one to help me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He chuckled, \u201cYou\u2019ll be fine, I shouldn\u2019t be gone long, and no one knows you\u2019re here outside of Rose and me. She told me last night before going to sleep she wanted to pick up your cuirass today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rigmor replied, \u201cMy cuirass?\u201d He responded, \u201cYes it was damaged in the battle you had with the Thalmor.\u201d I took it into Riverwood to have the smithy there repair it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, please take a few sips of this water, I\u2019ll leave it with you and here some of the breakfast stew it looks like Rose threw together. I should be back by midday with Rose.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rigmor replied, \u201cJust be careful okay, I need you both to come back, to help me if you can, if you want to?\u201d He replied as he stood up and began walking to the boat, \u201cOf course we want to, we\u2019ll l be back soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
