Prelude:<\/strong> At the closing of Rigmor of Bruma, after the Battle of Whiterun the Dragonborn was given a dire message from Tendril Sethri, disciple of Azura. The message told him he would not be able to travel with Rigmor back to Bruma to take her home. That he would have to say goodbye at the border. You see, Rigmor and the Dragonborn had grown close to each other. When he escorted her to the border he had to tell her he would not be returning with her, that he had a destiny yet to fulfill here in Skyrim. He knew in his heart, that if he were to deny the request, it could have dire consequences not just in Skyrim, but all of Tamriel. Rigmor didn’t understand but in the end she mounted her horse Ren, and rode off to Bruma. As she neared the border, you could hear her call to her Dragonborn, “I love you, I will always love you!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four years has passed since that day. The Dragonborn did have a destiny to fulfill which included defeating Alduin, the first Dragon and World Eater. He had saved all the world from the ending Alduin had planned. He had become “The Dragon of the North” a name given to him by the Greybeards, the teachers of the “The Way of the Voice” when they spoke to him, “Long has the Storm Crown languished with no worthy brow to sit upon. By our breath we bestow it now to you in the name of Kyne, in the name of Shor, and in the name of Atmora of old. You are Ysmir now, the Dragon of the North.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had been near Whiterun again, as he had been thinking of Rigmor recently and thought to visit the “Bannered Mare”, an Inn in Whiterun where Rigmor and him had deep memories of some special events that had taken place there. As he neared the city gates a courier came to him and handed him a letter. I read, “Meet me in the “Bannered Mare”, I have some important news. Take a seat near the door and I will come over once you arrive. Signed – A friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
